Volunteer Opportunities
Our not-for-profit Foundation requires volunteers to assist with our quest to raise money to fund scientific research in finding a cure or treatment for one of the most common forms of Muscular Dystrophy, FSHD (Facioscapulohumeral Dystrophy).
Donations for prizes
Working with our small creative team, we are seeking volunteers to assist in our drive to secure donations from organisations for prizes to be used at our upcoming Golf Tournament. We are seeking large and small prizes and we will provide you with a target list of organisations as well as sponsorship and event information.
You will be required to contact a number of organisations either via email, telephone or face to face. You will receive input from us on how to conduct your conversation or word your email. Ideally, you may be able to further assist by sourcing donations from your own personal network.
Golf Tournament
Tuesday 14 September, NSW Golf Club and Tuesday 30 November, Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club, Sydney
We are seeking volunteers to assist with the running of our golf tournament ideally over both days, or on a selected day. We require assistance with scoring (Ambrose competition), tallying points for our Putter Point system, liaising with players at nominated holes (we have organised simple and fun games for each hole) as well as our registration desk, auction and presentation ceremony.
